The time of Cerea island nwn/nwn2 servers seems past.

The low number of players lately  combined with the admin not having time.

So there will be no further updates and similar, though the server will likelt stay up as much as possible.

I want to say a thank you for all who have played,t and specially those who DMed and built in Cerea and Cerea2 over the years.

It was the combination of the people that made the place enjoyable in the past.

 What is this place?

This is the community site for the NWN2 PW server, Cerea Island 2.

Background

The Module Cerea is based on an island named Cerea in a Paper And Pen Roleplaying World created in 1988. It has also been the base of adventures in the current PW Cerea for NWN. As the setting is not Forgotten Realms, the Gods, Races and such are quite different. Cerea2's main plot focuses on the restoration of Cerea after massive destruction. In the past Cerea went through a time of troubles, with the forces of evil and good battling for control but with disastrous consequences - much damage has, and is being done to the land and its people. Cerea2 will be set about 20 years after the original Cerea. The players will be the heroes fighting the existing evil, with the goal of reclaiming and rebuilding the shattered world after its destruction.

Basics

The essential genre of the module is Roleplay. Heavy roleplay is expected, but this does not exclude action completely. On the contrary, a fair amount of action is to be expected in between and during the ongoing intriques of the story plot.

The basic mechanics of this place are centered upon a struggle between Life and Unlife. Users of negative energy and undead beings will be quickly categorized as evil. Players of evil do not do well in Cerea, unless they are exceptionally talented, fortunate and able to rise above their enemies and circumstances. Predictably, very few persons / players will be able to pull this off.

Let it be emphasized that Cerea is a world of heroes, concentrating on fighting for the might of the divine, building a world to suit good purposes and facing challenges on a day-to-day basis - not merely an arena for Player vs. Player combat.

Most of the integrated systems and methods are based on learning and experience, both good and bad, that were garnered from the original Cerea campaign for NWN. Therefore, expect a sense of familiarity and assurance that only the best will be done to deliver a sense of good gaming and adventure. Welcome to Cerea2, and may your stay be long.
