Rules of the server
Sunday, 16 July 2006

Basic rule of the server:
Do onto others as you wish to be done to you.

Current rules in more detail:

  • 1) Stealing from other players is forbidden
  • 2) Grief killing of other players is forbidden (And PvP in general is discouraged).
  • This means that going around slaughtering others is forbidden. Any PvP has to be mutually agreed upon.(Pvp should be only for  RP purposes. Assuming the character of a crazed killer is NOT a valid RP reason or excuse!)
  • Pulling monsters from high-level areas to known low-level areas and leaving them there is forbidden. (This is known as "training" in gaming circles.)
  • 3) Any exploitation of bugs to get extra attacks/powers/ and any ways to do item duplications and such is forbidden. Please report any bugs to the bug database in the website or using the in game bug report tool.

Minor points of etiquette:

  • Try to stay in character as much as possible. Please take OOC communication to tells.
  • Do not ask for handouts. Earn the things yourself. Players are encouraged to be reasonably independant, but asking for help to complete quests and such is encouraged.
  • Shout is allowed for announcements and such but shout spamming is not.
  • Shouting in OOC is especially frowned upon.
  • Do not "kill steal".
  • DM’s do not give refunds or rewards for any lost items/gold/whatever.
  • Any complaints about the module should go the bug/suggestion part of the website. Please do not rant about it while on the server.
  • For behavior on DM quests and such see the questing topics in the wiki.
  • Evil Characters do not really fit in well, so if you wish to play such read about them.

DM quests

There are also guidelines for acting on DM quests and interacting with DMs

Those are not really rules, but following them helpsmake things run smoothly.
